Hydrotherapy

I witnessed my sister's first hydrotherapy session 2 days ago, and this was an emotional experience for me as I saw my sister (P) walk for the first time in many years. I was particularly  impressed with P's relationship with Gill, the physio. P was clearly very fond of Gill and was thoroughly enjoying the hydro. The bond between therapist and client was clear and obvious, and my sister must benefit hugely from the physical contact with another person whom she is fond of. When she is out of water she is wheelchair bound and therefore cannot experience hugs and close physical contact with another human being, which is important for all of us.
